Actors Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu who will be seen together in upcoming film ‘Naam Shabana’, yesterday released a video teaching self-defence techniques to girls and women. The duo showed the methods by which girls can use their elbows to protect themselves from molesters.
In the video, Taapsee Pannu was seen saying that girls can face trouble anywhere and when such things happened, their mind stop working and they freeze. The ‘Pink’ actress added that girls should use the weapons given by the god for their safety. She then called Akshay Kumar to show a technique that can be used by the girls for their safety.
Akshay tweeted, “Don't just freeze...ACT & REACT coz ur biggest weapon is with YOU! Watch, learn & show your move with #KohniMaar! Kya pata kab kaam aa jaye.”
Both Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu were seen speaking about women safety in the past. In fact, Khiladi Kumar has time and again motivated girls to learn self-defence techniques. Now, with the video, the actors have taken a step ahead.
In ‘Naam Shabana’, Taapsee will be seen reprising her role from ‘Baby’. The movie also stars Anupam Kher and Manoj Bajpayee in prominent roles.
Directed by Shivam Nair, the flick is slated to release on March 31.
