After winning accolades for his performances in movie like ‘Company’ and ‘Rakht Charitra’, Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has been roped in for Tollywood superstar Ajit’s upcoming movie.
As per the media reports, Vivek will be seen playing the lead antagonist in the movie, which is temporarily named as ‘Thala 57’.
Apparently, the makers were speculation on several big Bollywood names before they zeroed in Vivek for the role of the villain.
It is being reported that the actor will be seen playing an international criminal in ‘Thala 57’.
Oberoi is expected start shooting for the movie.
Being directed by Siva, the film features Ajith as an Interpol agent, and the film also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan in the lead.
Tipped to be an action-thriller, the film is being bankrolled Satyajothi Films.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Vivek Oberoi is being featured in a Tamil movie. Instead the actor made his Tollywood debut with Ram Gopal Varma’s 2010 release ‘Raththa Sarithiram’.
He was last seen on the silver screen in ‘Great Grand Masti’ early this year which flunked at the box office.
