On November 1, BJP MP and veteran actress Hema Malini narrowly escaped a bull attack which barged into Mathura railway station interrupting MP's surprise inspection of the junction. Days after the incident, the station manager, KL Meena, has been suspended for allegedly failing to curb the cattle menace, said an official.
A probe has also been ordered in the incident, Sanchit Tyagi, divisional commercial manager, North Central Railway, said. Tyagi said the BJP MP from Mathura narrowly escaped when she was attacked by a bull at the station. She was visiting the railway station to check for the possibility of revamping the station. A video which found its way to social media shows the bull running amok at the station. As it heads towards Hema Malini, her security staff surround her. A new station manager has been appointed in place of Meena.
On a related note, a biography on Hema Malini, titled Beyond The Dream Girl released on Hema's birthday, October 16. The book has many shocking revelations in it.
