Judwaa 2 actor Varun Dhawan is all set to appear in October with newcomer Banita Sandhu. The film has been making headlines for now. The Shoojit Sircar film is a slice-of-life love story based on the backdrop of Delhi. The makers have wrapped shooting in just 38 days in Manali. "Performing on heights and do something new is always a bit scary but then I just go back to why I wanted to be an actor and I overcome it," Varun said in a Q & A session on Twitter. Now, the actor has announced the release date of the film in the most unique manner.
Varun Dhawan took to his Twitter handle and shared a calendar comprising on-location pics of the film. Whether it’s Sircar’s favourite bylanes of Delhi or Himachal Pradesh’s lush green landscapes, the video calendar gives us a glimpse of the movie.
“This year #October is coming April and will stay with you forever #October13thApril #octoberinapril”, Varun Dhawan wrote.
Director Shoojit Sircar, who churned out hit movies like Piku and Pink, said, “It is a genre that I have always wanted to delve in. While love and romance have been entwined with Indian cinema, there is abundance in that emotion that everyone can have their own interpretations of. Juhi (Chaturvedi) and I have always tried to create stories from the reflections of real life moments that we see around us. October is another effort to explore those moments out of simple situations of life.”
