Actor Varun Dhawan got quite a nice start in his Bollywood career. The star kid got his first big Bollywood break under the banner of Dharma Productions as he acted in ‘Student Of The Year’. Since his debut in 2012, there has been no looking back for him. Impressed by his acting skills, many have said that he is the next bif thing in Bollywood.

However, it is quite surprising that one of the first advices which Varun got in the film industry was not given by his filmmaker father David Dhawan or his mentor Karan Johar. In fact, this quite realistic piece of advice came from actor Ranbir Kapoor.

While speaking to a leading daily, Varun said that in the beginning of his career Ranbir had asked him to refrain from commenting on his contemporaries.

“He told me never to wish bad for any of my contemporaries. I don’t know why he told me this, but he did so at the beginning of my career,”

revealed Varun.
