Superstar Salman Khan starrer Tiger Zinda Hai is doing wonderful business at the box office. After crossing Rs 250 cr club, the movie is storming towards Rs 300 cr. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor has given a perfect ending to this year. The movie has broken many records and is setting benchmarks for all upcoming films. The film earned Rs 254.75 cr till Sunday. According to early estimates, Tiger Zinda Hai minted Rs 16 cr (approx) on January 1 and thus the total collection of the film now stands at Rs 270.75 cr.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#TigerZindaHai biz at a glance...Week 1: ₹ 206.04 crWeekend 2: ₹ 48.71 cr Total: ₹ 254.75 cr India biz. #TZH.”
In 2017, Ajay Devgn and Parineeti Chopra starrer Golmaal Again was the top grosser with Rs 205 cr. Tiger Zinda Hai crossed Rs 150 cr mark in just five days and is now moving towards Rs 300 cr mark. This is the superstar’s 12th consecutive Rs 100-crore film and his fifth film to enter Rs 200-crore club.
Salman shared the screen space with actress Katrina Kaif in the flick directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The movie was the sequel to 2012 film Ek Tha Tiger. The lifetime collection of the prequel was Rs 198.78 cr.
