Superstar Salman Khan yesterday was acquitted in an Arms Act case by chief judicial court in Jodhpur. This news came as a big relief to the superstar and his family. Salman’s father and scriptwriter Salim Khan has expressed his happiness on the judgement and said that they had full faith in the judiciary.
Salim said, "We are relieved. The long standing tension is over. We always had faith in the judiciary. This took 18 years. It is a very long time and we all were stressed about it.
He added, "Salman also went to jail in between this period. He didn't abscond. He faced every problem and was present every time the court asked him to. We were prepared for the extreme verdict as well but by God's grace things are fine," Salim said.
On a related note, Salman is currently occupied with the work of Kabir Khan directorial ‘Tubelight’. The movie will hit the screens on Eid.
