Actress Anushka Sharma, who will soon be seen in ‘The Ring’ opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan, says the movie is quite special to her.

Speaking further about her upcoming movie, Anushka revealed why ‘The Ring’ holds a special place for her, saying that the movie has given her chance to work with Imtiaz Ali.

The actress admitted that she is extremely fond of Imtiaz’s work and has always dreamt of working with the filmmaker.

In fact, Sharma also revealed that it is because of Imtiaz Ali’s 2007 release ‘Jab We Met’ that she became an actress.

"To work with the same director, is a great feeling. It's been a good experience and it's a love story," she added.

Moreover, Anushka Sharma is excited to collaborate with SRK, who was his first co-star.

Anushka made her debut with 2008 release ‘Rab Ne Bàna Di Jodi’ opposite King Khan.

This is the third time Anushka is working with King Khan. The two also shared the screen space in 2012 release ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’.

The actress asserted that she shared a special equation with the ‘Dilwale’ actor and is excited to work with him after four years.

‘The Ring’ is shot in beautiful locales of Amsterdam, Budapest and Prague and is touted to release in mid of 2017.

Currently, Anushka Sharma is riding high on her success in B-town this year. She has given two movies this year – ‘Sultan’ and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. While ‘Sultan’ has become the first blockbuster hit of 2016, her last release ADHM is also doing a phenomenal business at the box office.

Besides, the actress is also busy with her second production ‘Phillauri’ and feels it's a big risk to invest money in a film.

She said: "It's difficult. It's a big risk. You know it's not a money generating thing for you, especially when you are a new producer. So, for me and my brother it's just to put the project together."

"If you are an actor yourself, you are not a liability on it. You are not taking too much money. You have to find means to save money so that the project doesn't get affected."

Directed by debutante Anshai Lal, "Phillauri" features Anushka Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma.
