The Dangal star Aamir Khan has given away the Christmas weekend of this year to Salman Khan, according to reports. The Sultan actor was struggling to find an apt release date for the release of his much-anticipated film, Tiger Zinda Hai. And it was none other than Aamir Khan who gifted the Christmas slot to Salman.
The reports revealed Salman requested his 'Andaz Apna Apna' co-star for a favour to which Aamir happily agreed. Christmas surely has come early for Bhai.
Khans in film the industry have the festivals booked for the release of their films. In 2017, Shah Rukh has two releases, out of which Raees is releasing on the Republic Day weekend and Diwali has already been taken by his untitled project directed by Imtiaz Ali.
Salman is all set to captivate his fans with two films this year - 'Tubelight' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. While Salman had locked-in Eid 2017 for 'Tubelight' much in advance, he was yet to get a decent window for 'Tiger Zinda Hai' at the cinemas. Thanks to his buddy Aamir Khan, he now has the ideal slot to release 'Ek Tha Tiger' sequel.

Aamir has no releases this year. His upcoming film, Thugs of Hindostan, in which the actor would be sharing the screen space with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time, is scheduled for 2018 release and his production film, Secret Superstar will hit the cinemas on 4 August this year.
