New Delhi: Comedian-turned- actor Kapil Sharma has made a comeback on small screen with his new comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
Without fail, this has been one of the most awaited shows of the year after Kapil’s previous ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ went off air all of a sudden. Owing to some disputes with Colors channel, Kapil launched another show on Sony which received an overwhelming response.
While people are enjoying Kapil’s humour all over again, they will be disappointed to know that their happiness is short-lived.
‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ will soon be going off-air.
Yes! It’s true and this revelation was made by Kapil Sharma himself.
“When we started with CNWK, we had planned to make it a series. But then, it started doing extremely well and we continued with the show. But for this new show, we already have it sorted. It will be a 26 episode series spanning over the next 13 weeks. We will finish shooting for 13 weeks and then we take a small break before we again start the next season. This will be a continuous process and we will keep taking small breaks in between,” Kapil told a leading daily.
Just 26 episodes! Indeed Kapil Sharma’s fans won’t be happy with this.
However, looking at the positive side, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ will be having several seasons. Now that is something exciting, isn’t it?
‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ also includes Ali Asgar, Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, Sumona Chakravarti and Chandan Prabhakar.
