Sylvester Stallone has refuted reports that he would appear in Indian remake of Rambo,, which features Tiger Shroff in the lead role. The 71-year-old Hollywood star confirmed to Deadline that he absolutely was not taking part in Shroff's "First Blood", a redo of the 1982 film that launched the Rambo franchise.

Through a spokesperson, Stallone stated "any involvement in Tiger Sharoff's Rambo is not happening, under any circumstances. I wish them well on their own," he said.

Stallone is currently busy with "Creed" sequel for MGM and is writing the script. "Rambo" remake will be directed by Siddharth Anand. The first look of Tiger as Rambo stole the show with his intense look and chiseled physique. The Baaghi actor shared the first look on his twitter account and captioned it, “Grew up on this character, humbled and blessed to step into his shoes years later. #RamboRemake”.

While we were in total awe of the new avatar of Tiger, the original Rambo Sylvester Stallone seems not very delighted or pleased.Taking to his Instagram account, the Hollywood star said "I read recently they are remaking Rambo in India! Great character. Hope they don't wreck it," Stallone captioned the image. 

The Hindi remake of Rambo is directed by Siddharth Anand and co-produced by M! Capital Ventures, Original Entertainment, Impact Films and Siddharth Anand Pictures.

It will follow life of last surviving member of an elite covert unit of the Indian Armed Forces who returns home to discover a war waging in his own land and how he unleashes mayhem by becoming an unstoppable machine after tough training.
