New Delhi: Hrithik Roshan’s ex-wife and entrepreneur Sussanne Khan has been booked by Panaji Police in an alleged Rs. 1.87 crore cheating case.
The 37-year-old Khan, who is a fashion designer by profession, is accused of falsely projecting herself as an architect to secure contract with a real estate company.
Complainant Mudhit Gupta, who is the managing partner of the real estate firm Emgee Properties, said that Sussanne had represented herself as a designer and an architect to him.
In 2013, the company had executed a written contract with Sussanne Khan "for architectural and designing services".
The complainant has alleged that Sussane failed to deliver the project within the period stipulated in the contract.
The project concerned is ‘Emgee Properties' Naira Complex, which was being constructed at Siridao in Tiswadi, North Goa.
As per the lawyer of Emgee Properties, the Panaji police was initially reluctant in filing the FIR against Sussanne Khan. It was registered after the real estate company decided to move to court.
