Actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been a part of quite an eventful life journey. Having an engineering degree, he started off with theatres then ventured into small screen and later took the plunge for the silver one. Apart from stardom, his progressive steps increased his bank balance too, but the actor says that money doesn’t matter to him.

Sushant’s last release entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club, establishing him as a bankable actor. But even as he stares at a successful skyline, Sushant said that it was his skill that holds importance for him.

During a candid conversation with a leading daily, Sushant said that he has so much money that he doesn’t care about it. He said that it was just lying there and one day if he gets bored he will buy an expensive bike, which he doesn’t need. He said that obviously the pay cheques differ from TV to the silver screen, but that doesn’t hinder his equation with the camera.

“The equation I share with the camera doesn’t change whether you place a camera in front of me or a live audience. Just the pay cheques differ,” said Sushant.

Talking about his career in Bollywood, Sushant said that he chose all six of his moves carefully despite being showered with many offers. He said now that his last release ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ has seen such a wide outreach, more people may come to watch a movie like ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’.

Sushant said that if movies don’t work for him he will go back to theatres. The actor who worked for five years in theatres said, “People assume that actors working in films won’t have the time to do theatre. But I make sure that whenever I’m free, I watch a play.”

When asked about his break up with long time girlfriend Ankita Lokhande, Sushant said that after the split people wrote a lot of things about him but it didn’t bother him.
