Other than his career graph whose trajectory is going up, actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s personal life too hogs limelight. The dashing actor who split from his long time girlfriend actress Ankita Lokhande, earlier this year, has revealed why he doesn’t talk about the split. In a conversation to a leading daily, the reel Mahendra Singh Dhoni said that a relationship was made by two people and he should take Anikta’s permission before saying anything on it.
Ankita and Sushant met on the sets of Zee TV’s popular soap ‘Pavitra Rishta’ and their relationship looked like a match made in heaven till things took a nasty turn. Amid rumours that the two stars have hit a rocky patch, Sushant left their love pad in Malad confirming that it was an end to their love story.
Though it has been months, Sushant has rarely addressed the elephant in the room. Every time a question about his split popped up, he urged people to talk only about his professional life. But now he has revealed that he did so because the relationship was not his alone to speak about.
“I cannot talk about her (Ankita Lokhande) without her permission. A relationship talks about two different individuals, and that’s why I’m not ready to discuss the details with anyone,” Sushant reportedly said.
The 30-year old actor added that he has no problems discussing it. He only said that when he wasn’t asked questions when everything was fine, why he is being questioned now.
There were reports that Ankita’s drinking problem had led to the break up. It was suggested that she had created a scene after getting drunk at a party prompting Sushant to call it quits. However, later Sushant had quashed the rumours saying with a tweet which read, “Neither she is a drunkard nor am I a womaniser.”
When Sushant was asked on what triggered this move of his, he said that he had to do that because things started getting nasty.
“It was then I took it to twitter to say what I wanted to. The very next moment, I was not concerned about those tweets,” Sushant added.
On his link up rumours with his ‘Raabta’ co-star Kriti Sanon, Sushant said that after a while one gets immune to them.
“You resort to ways that keep you away from such things,” said Sushant.
