New Delhi: Actress Sunny Leone is all set to host yet another season of Splitsvilla. In the ninth season too, she will mentor the contestants who come to the show to establish connections.
Given the stardom Sunny enjoys, one may argue that she doesn’t need to host a reality TV show to put weight in her acting resume. But, for Sunny being a part of Splitsvilla, is not a project but a way she can connect with the youth of the nation.
Speaking about Splitsvilla in an interview to a leading daily, Sunny said,
“I have always wanted to belong to the young crowd that MTV represents, so each year when I return to host this show I feel excited all over again.”
Sunny also added that this hit reality show gives her room like no other project does.
“To me, this show is about reaching out to a whole new market, which is the youth. In films, each role is different so the perception I give out on screen depends on what character I play. On TV, since this is my only show, it helps me reach living rooms with the specific image of being a representative of the youth,” told Sunny.
This year, the show’s concept is changed and is called “Where Women Rule”. Talking about the change, Sunny said, “We keep changing the format to maintain novelty”.
However, the diva maintains that she tries to keep her approach as mentor consistent.
