Ace comedian Sunil Grover, who will soon be seen performing live in Ahmadabad has reportedly bagged a role in filmmaker Anurag Basu’s next venture. The comedian left the show post his mid-flight tussle with comedian Kapil Sharma.
If reports are to be believed then Anurag Basu, who was present as a special guest in reality show Sabse Bada Kalakar was very impressed with Sunil and Ali’s comedy gig. Anurag reportedly said that Sunil is one of the underrated actors and can create magic if presented well on screen.
A source revealed that Basu is keen to cast Sunil in his upcoming film and may also write a good role for him.
However, nothing official can be said as of now.
The actor has previously revealed that he wanted to do more films as he considers himself as actor and not comedian.
After Kapil’s alleged rift with Sunil, the latter left the show along with Chandan Prabhakar and Ali Asgar. Sunil made it clear that he won’t be returning to the show as he wants to entertain with dignity. He is currently entertaining his fans with live performances.
Meanwhile, Kapil is struggling to save the dropping TRP of The Kapil Sharma Show.
On a related note, Anurag’s Jagga Jasoos featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif is slated to release on July 14.
