Sunil Grover to play Salman Khan's best friend in Bharat

Sunil Grover will be playing Salman Khan’s friend in Bharat, stated a report.

Stand-up comedian Sunil Grover, who is currently seen on the show Dhan Dhana Dhan has bagged a big project with Bollywood's Dabangg actor Salman Khan. And if reports are to believed Sunil has bagged a role in Salman's upcoming film Bharat.

Interestingly, Sunil will be essaying the role of Salman's friend in Bharat.  

A report of Indian Express stated, “Sunil Grover will be playing Salman Khan’s friend in Bharat. His role is not like what we see in another films where comedians are used for a couple of comic punches and then they disappear. He has an interesting role in the film.”

Salman's Bharat also features Priyanka Chopra in lead role and the actor welcoming the desi girl tweeted, ''Bharat welcomes you back home Priyanka. See you soon. By the way humari film Hindi hai (our film is in Hindi).''  

To which Priyanka replied, ''UP Bareilly ki hun janaab... Desi girl forever. Very happy to be a part of 'Bharat' and see all of you on set."

Bharat will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, with whom Priyanka has earlier worked in Gunday. Welcoming Priyanka to Bollwood, Ali Abbas Zafar tweeted, "Swagat hai aapka Priyanka. 'Bharat' ki mitti aur hawa ko apka intezaar hai. (We welcome you Priyanka. The soil and air of 'Bharat' is waiting for you)." 

The film, produced by Atul Agnihotri's Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, will release on Eid 2019.
