New Delhi:The three Khans of bollywood, over the past decades, have become strong pillars on which movie industry rests. Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir Khan have given their fans enough movies spread across various genres. Their loyal fan base visit theatres every time their movie releases.

The three contemporaries have always been compared with each other, whether it is in terms of money their movies make, or the awards they get.

Cine buffs, however, never really got a chance to put two of these three Khans on the same scale. Mostly, because Salman, Aamir and SRK, worked across varied genres and plot lines. While, the King of Romance tag stayed with Shah Rukh Khan, Salman became the mass entertainer and Aamir Mr. Perfectionist owing to the way he did his movies.

However, this year, things are going to change. Salman Khan and Aamir Khan will soon be seen as wrestlers in Sultan and Dangal respectively, giving much space for comparison.

The similarities between the two and the difference have been discussed in detail.

Salman Khan, with Sultan’s release not far away, has said what makes his movie different from Dangal.

In one of his recent interviews, Salman said that though both he and Aamir bulked up for the role of a wrestler, it is not quite the same.

Said the Dabangg actor,

“Aamir Khan had it relatively easier – he bulked up, shot and then relaxed for six months. I used to shoot, diet, eat, shoot, diet...and go on.”

He also said that while Aamir perfected the Haryanavi dialect by learning it, he did not.

“I would repeat after a guy who was reading my lines on the set. I had no time to learn the language. Aamir had the time and he has learnt it so well. My mother is Maharashtrian but I can’t speak Marathi well. Mere Hindi, English ke vaande hain. I just have enough vocabulary to communicate correctly ”

Salman added.

“It’s a tough process. You need ample training like the wrestlers. The training Aamir Khan and I have been through is similar or probably a little more than what the wrestlers go through. If we didn’t do it, we wouldn’t be able to fight convincingly in the ring”

Salman revealed when asked how tough it was to portray a wrestler.

Salman, earlier, had also asserted that there is no point comparing both the movies as they have two different stories. He also said that if given a chance he would have loved to do Dangal as well.
