Mumbai: Actor Sudhir Pandey, who has been part of the entertainment industry for over two decades now, feels the younger lot of actors “lack in the devotion for acting” as they want everything easy and fast.
“The new generation actors want everything to be easy and quick. They lack in the devotion for acting, for perfecting each scene and listening to the director,” Sudhir said in a statement.
Sudhir will next be seen in “Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Karein” as Dadaji.
Talking about the lead pair Varun Toorkey and Ishani Sharma, Sudhir said: “Fortunately, the young actors I’m working with in 'Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Karein', especially Ishani and Varun, are ready to learn and I can see their passion towards acting.”
Further talking about the show, Sudhir said: “The storyline is progressive and I am thoroughly enjoying shooting. This character is quite different than the characters I have played in the past and I’m putting my best foot forward to do justice to the role.”
“I have played many roles in the past but the role of Dadaji is unique. His character has many facets and I’m putting my best to do justice to the role.”
"Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Pyaar Kya Karein" will be aired on Star Plus starting June 6.
