Karan Johar’s Student of the Year 2 has been making huge headlines for its casting for quite some time now. From Disha Patani to Sara Ali Khan to Ananya Panday, several names were associated with the Tiger Shroff starrer film. Rumours also had it that Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar would be romancing Tiger in the KJO film. Now, it looks like that the makers have finalized the female cast. Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria are paired opposite Tiger Shroff in SOTY 2, latest report suggests.
“Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria are finalised for Student Of The Year 2. While Ananya was finalised a while ago, Tara joined the cast later”, a source was quoted as saying to India.com.
Speculations about actresses of the film were rife from quite some time. Firstly, it was being said that the Sridevi Kapoor’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor will make her debut with the SOTY 2 but Karan recently announced that the lady will be entering Bollywood with Dhadak alongside Ishaan Khattar. However, official confirmation on the same is still awaited.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Karan Johar announced the release date of Student of the Year 2 along with the new poster featuring Tiger Shroff.
'SOTY 2' will release worldwide on the November 23, 2018! The two new leading ladies will be announced next month! The franchise forges ahead under the baton of director Punit Malhotra. Fox Star Hindi, Apoorva Mehta, Tiger Shroff," Karan tweeted.
