Actor Randeep Hooda has come out in support of singer Sonu Nigam, who created controversies with his Azaan tweets. The actor stated that Sonu’s tweets were against loudspeakers and not any religion.
Randeep today took to microblogging site Twitter to share a post. He tweeted, “What @sonunigam meant was against #loudspeakers not against a religion .. anyone doing is against #CivicSense and should be curtailed ..”
Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai actress Saumya Tandon has also supported the singer.
Bollywood seems divided on the whole issue. Anupam Kher, Divyanka Tripathi and Sunil Grover supported the singer for his bold move whereas Mika Singh stated that he didn’t agree with Sonu’s remarks.
KRK, who is famous for his bizarre tweets also reacted on the issue.
It seems that the controversy is not going to end anytime soon.

Few days back, Sonu, who was woken up by the sound of Azaan criticised the use of loudspeakers at mosques and temples in a series of tweets. After which, he shaved his head in the afternoon, in response to a fatwa issued by a Muslim cleric in West Bengal.

Bengal cleric Syed Sha Atef Ali Al Quaderi announced to give 10 lakhs to whoever will shave Sonu’s hair and put a garland of shoes around his head. After Sonu became bald, the cleric stated that singer did so to get rid of lice.
