Luv Ranjan's Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has not only left audience but even box office smiling. Trade analysts are surprised with its unpredictable performance and calls it ''beauty of the business''. Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh starrer movie emerged to be the third biggest opener of 2018 so far, after Padmaavat and Padman.
The movie with tongue-twisting title has minted Rs 6.42 crore on its first day. Its business is expected to increase on Saturday and Sunday following its light-hearted theme and familiar star cast. Such a business without any festival or holiday is being hailed by trade analysts. Even stars are overwhelmed with such a response.
Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety revolves around an untouched concept of Romance vs Bromance. However, like all Luv Ranjan's film, it shows women under bad light and that too without substantiating it. The one thing that has lifted the movie is performances. From lead actors such as Kartik, Nushrat to supporting actors Alok Nath, everyone has given their best. People are particularly surprised to see 'sanskari babuji' Alok Nath's 'unsanskari' side.
