Luv Ranjan’s fourth project with Kartik Aryan, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety emerged with positive response from both audience and fans. The film is also performing fabulously at the box office. The movie has won millions of hearts and has successfully become the second highest grosser of 2018, defeating superstar Akshay Kumar’s PadMan. The total collection of film has now become Rs 94.91, inching gradually to 100-crore mark.
Trade analyst shared the recent BO numbers of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety on his Twitter account. The film will easily manage to slide pass the 100-crore mark anytime soon. Sharing the collection, Taran wrote, “#SonuKeTituKiSweety refuses to slow down... [Week 4] Fri 1.27 cr. Total: ₹ 94.91 cr. India biz... #SKTKS”
The film is also dominating all the latest releases like Pari and Hate Story 4. Urvashi Rautela’s film has collected Rs 7.95 cr in two days. Along with Kartik, the movie also featured Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh in pivotal roles. Nushrat and Kartik have earlier worked together in films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Akaash Vani.
Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety follows the lines of usual Luv Ranjan films which involves a battle of sexes. It is a lighthearted comedy, which showcases Kartik Aryan (Sonu) trying to sabotage his best friend Titu’s wedding with Sweety, as he thinks she’s not the right girl for her. The camaraderie between the lead cast has gone down well with the Indian audience. The music album with peppy numbers like Bom Diggy Diggy and Dil Chori Sada are still topping the chartbusters.
