Actress Sonam Kapoor, who will soon resume the shooting of Rhea Kapoor’s ‘Veera Di Wedding’, recently took a dig at filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘bikini babe’ comment on actor Tiger Shroff saying that whoever the director dislikes, does well in his career.
Few days back, Tiger’s mother Ayesha Shroof and sister Krishna Shroff reacted on RGV’s comment.
His mother stated that whatever Ramu said was irrelevant, and when a leady daily quizzed Sonam on the same she laughed it out. She said that they should be happy that RGV didn’t like Tiger as people whom he dislikes does well in their career.
The actresses said, “They should be happy that Ramu doesn’t like Tiger. Whoever Ramu doesn’t like, does very well. I am very happy. I like Tiger.”
Sonam Kapoor further added that she liked Tiger as he is cool, least bothered, and he always conduct himself in a dignified way. She praised Tiger saying that he performs beautifully.
The ‘Neerja’ actress stated, “I saw him performing recently at an awards event and he did such a good job. It was a pleasure to watch. I just haven’t had the chance to watch his performance, except for his first film, but whatever I see him at events and parties, I like the way he conducts himself.”
The Bollywood diva is known for her outspoken nature, and this time also she made her point by taking Tiger’s side.
On Tiger’s birthday, Ramu, in a series of tweets insulted the actor and called him ‘bikini babe’. Yesterday, people slammed him on social media for his nasty tweet on Sunny Leone on International Women’s Day.
