This piece of news will surely bring smile on many faces. Akshay Kumar who will be working in R Balki’s directorial venture ‘Padman’ is all sell to share the screen space with actresses Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in the flick.
The movie is based on the real life story of social entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganantham who invented the first low-cost sanitary napkins in India.
Sonam who was very excited, shared her happiness and announced the news on social media by sharing the poster of the R Balki-directed movie.
"Thrilled to be a part of this prestigious project. #Rbalki @akshaykumar @missfunnybones @radhikaofficial #padman," Sonam captioned the film's poster.
This is the second time Sonam is teaming with Akshay, they have previously worked in 2011 film "Thank You". On the other hand, Radhika Apte is appearing for the first time with both Akshay and Sonam.
Akshay's wife and actress-turned-writer Twinkle Khanna will produce the film under her new banner Mrs Funnybones.
It will definitely be interesting to see these three talented stars together on the silver screen.
