Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has expressed her desire to portray Rio Olympics bronze medal-winning wrestler Sakshi Malik’s on the silver screen.

The actress stated that she would love to work in Sakhi’s biopic, whenever it is made.

Sonakshi also mentioned that she is perfect for the role owing to the action sequences she has been doing in her movies latterly.

Sinha had has recently stunned everyone with her powerful performance in ‘Akira’. In fact, she will reportedly be doing some breath-taking action sequences in her upcoming movie ‘Force 2’ as well.

The actress also spoke about the pay disparity in Bollywood and said that not just the B-town but the entire industry faces the similar situation.

Sonakshi emphasized on achieving gender equality and urged people not maker their daughters feel less than anyone around.

The ‘Akira’ also mentioned that whatever she is today is just because of her obstinacy about not let anyone suppress her. She also credited her parents for their unconditional support and making her feel that she is no less than her brothers.

 

On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha is busy shooting for her upcoming movie ‘Noor’. She has also signed for Abhay Chopra's remake of the 1969 murder mystery, "Ittefaq" opposite Sidharth Malhotra, and Vipul Shah's comedy "Namastey England" opposite Akshay Kumar.
