Actress Shraddha Kapoor yesterday launched the trailer of her upcoming film Haseena Parkar. The lady was looking drop dead gorgeous at the launch event. She was accompanied by her brother Siddhanth Kapoor, who is also playing a crucial role in the film and the director Apoorva Lakhia. The movie is the biopic on underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar. The cast interacted with media and spilled some details about the film.

Shraddha looked pretty in one-sided pink jumpsuit. The actress will be seen in a totally different avatar in the film. It seems that the movie will help to change her girl-next-door image in the industry.

Director Apoorva Lakhia, during interaction revealed that actress Sonakshi Sinha was the first choice for the film. But, things didn’t work out well and the project fell on Shraddha’s kitty.

The movie was initially titled Haseena: Queen of Mumbai. It is slated to release on August 18.
