Self proclaimed movie critic Kamaal R Khan recently landed himself in a fresh scoop after he leaked the plot of Ajay Devgn’s much awaited movie ‘Shivaay’ on Thursday, a day before film’s release
The movie is scheduled to release on October 28.
KRK, who was doing a live review of ‘Shivaay’ from Vox Cinemas Dubai, shared an 11 sec clip featuring the starting scene of the movie on micro-blogging site Twitter.
However, he soon realised the goof-up he did and went on to delete the clip. But he did not stop here and went on to reveal the plot of the movie in a series of tweet.
KRK reveal how the story of ‘Shivaay’ begins with a nine year old memory and deals with prostitution problem in Bulgaria.
His attempt to review the movie backfired at him and he ended up landing in a legal trouble for violating the piracy laws. In fact, the Twitter handle of Vox Cinemas soon made a tweet warning KRK not to use recording devices inside the cinema hall.
However, KRK clarified his stand saying he didn’t record anything, instead took a snap of the title of ‘Shivaay’.
While Ajay Devgn is yet to comment on the entire hullabaloo, looks like his team is not satisfied with KRK’s so-called clarification and are planning to take a stringent legal action.
Reliance Entertainment, who are the official distributors of ‘Shivaay’, have reportedly taken up the screenshots of all posts made by KRK about the movie and looking forward to drag him to the court.
“What has happened is that, you know in the middle east the films open one day before. KRK has started to copy the film from inside the cinema and has started putting those videos. We are taking strict legal action and filing a complaint with the cyber crime in Mumbai. We have also written to all the social media platforms like Twitter, YouTube and Facebook too coz when any kind of piracy happens, we take stringent action including criminal action”, Shibasish Sarkar, COO, Reliance Entertainment told an entertainment portal.
Interestingly, it’s been just a while ago when KRK had made it to the headlines because his stormy Twitter rant with Ajay Devgn over badmouthing ‘Shivaay’ on social media. Ajay had released a phone recording in which the self-proclaimed critic was heard confessing that he charged Rs 25 lakhfrom Karan Johar to promote his ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ which will be having a box office clash with ‘Shivaay’ today. While the entire tiff created a stir in the industry, KRK denied all the allegations.
However, with the distributors having evidences this time, KRK seems to have invited a big trouble for himself.
