Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu attended the Shalom Bollywood event, in which people from the film fraternity including megastar Amitabh Bachchan took part. Big B extended a warm welcome to Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara Netanyahu at an exclusive 'Shalom Bollywood' evening on Thursday.
While addressing the audience at the event, the 'PINK' star said, "The Indian film industry is more than a hundred years old and is flourishing and doing extremely well. India produces more than a 1500 films every year, which is four times what Hollywood produces and twice as much as comes out of China."
Netanyahu, in his address, spoke about Big B and Bollywood, and said, "I learnt that Amitabh Bachchan has a larger fan following than me on social media. You guys are a big deal. The world loves Bollywood. We love Bollywood. We want Bollywood in Israel."
“Indian cinema has gone truly global, it is liked in every part of the world,” Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said while addressing the audience at Shalom Bollywood event.
