New Delhi: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has once again proved that he is the King of Bollywood. All thanks to his latest release ‘Fan’ which is minting crores at the box office.
The movie, which has good response from all across, has made Rs 19.20 cr of Friday.
Taran Adarsh tweeted, ‘Fan’ has collected a whopping amount of Rs. 19.20 crores on its opening day.
He tweeted, “#Fan records FANTASTIC biz on Fri. Plexes/metros are ROCKING. Fri ₹ 19.20 cr. India biz. Sat+Sun biz is crucial to put up a STRONG total.”
SRK’s thriller has left behind the first day collection of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Airlift’ which was Rs. 12.35 cr and has now become the highest opening day grosser of 2016.
However, it has failed to cross the opening day collection of Shah Rukh’s 2015 release ‘Dilwale’, which was Rs 21 crores.
Fan released to 3000 screens across the country and is getting rave views from the fans and the critics.
The kind of impression SRK has managed to leave on the audience with his performance in ‘Fan’ clearly depicts that the actor in him is back in the best of his form.
