New Delhi: Actor Shahid Kapoor is soon to become a dad. He and his wife Mira Rajput are expecting their first born in September and the couple is quite excited about it. Shahid confirmed Mira’s pregnancy a few weeks ago.
Sasha, who is all set to don the parenthood hat, has plans on how he will get into the skin of the role. He sure understands the responsibility which comes along with a child but is quite clear on what kind of parent he will be.
While speaking to a leading entertainment portal, Shahid said,
“That’s sorted. Mira is the strict one. I’ll be the nice guy who lets the kid do whatever he wants. So that one is completely sorted.”
Now, that was funny.
During his conversation, Shahid also said that something in him annoys Mira too. He said,
“Eah, she keeps telling me, ‘you didn’t complete your college, and there is no way that our child will not complete his education.’ I feel like I need to explain it to her that it’s not like I didn’t want to complete college, it’s just that I got work and I used to earn for myself. So, it just happened like that.”
Going to the serious part of parenthood, Shahid while speaking to another leading daily said,
“It will be a new responsibility. From being an independent individual, you become part of a family and of a wonderful unit. So you feel responsible not just for yourself but for others as well. I am sure my wife (Mira) feels the same way about it. She was an independent individual and now she has responsibility of us being a family.”
Well, we think Shahid will be an amazing parent and the child is going to be a lucky one.
