New Delhi: Actor Shahid Kapoor’s younger brother Ishaan Khattar’s debut has gained a lot of attention. Ishaan’s star brother, a few days ago, refused to launch him in the film industry. Shahid said that if Ishaan is talented, filmmakers will spot him and give him a role.
And looks like, 20 years old Ishaan’s talent has grabbed the attention of none other than Karan Johar. Media reports have it that Karan is planning to launch Ishaan in his production venture.
That is not it. Reportedly, Karan is planning to make a Bollywood movie on John Green’s ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ and Ishaan will play the role of Augustus Waters. It is also being said that Saif’s elder daughter Sara Ali Khan will play Hazel Grace in the movie.
Ishaan is currently holidaying in Kashmir and on his return he will start prepping for the role, suggested media reports.
Like his elder half-brother, Ishaan is a trained dancer from Shiamak Davar's dance academy and is quite active on social media. He has worked as an assistant director on Shahid's upcoming film ‘Udta Punjab’.
Speaking about him Shahid had said,
“He’s a hard working boy. He’s an exceptionally good dancer. The other day he send me a nice picture of him giving the clap for my first shot in Udta Punjab as Tommy Singh, cutting a line of coke inside a Range Rover with a Rs 100 note. That’s a cute moment. We have a difference of 14 years between us. For me he’s more like a kid.”
