For fans of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, his birthday that falls on 2nd November is no less than a festival. Thousands of his fans throng to his palatial bungalow Mannat to greet him with wishes but looks like they will be left disappointed this year. Reports in media have it that King Khan has settled for a simple celebration to ring in his 51st birthday.
Reportedly, SRK rang in his birthday on the outskirts of Mumbai with close friends and family. He decided against the annual ritual of interacting with media.
Among the first guests of this intimate ceremony held at Alibaug were SRK’s close friend filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Ranbir Kapoor. Actor Sanjay Kapoor too attended the bash with his daughter Shanaya. Sanjay took to Instagram to share a photo captioning it ‘With the scorpions’.

Other guests who are expected to join the bash include Manish Malhotra, Farah Khan, Sachiin Joshi and friends of SRK’s wife Gauri Khan.
Well, this decision of SRK to not go with the annual tradition is sure to leave his fans disappointed.
The thousands of fans who come to ‘Mannat’ to catch a glimpse of the 51-year old star further reinstates the universal fact that SRK’s stardom can not be explained in words.
On the work front, Shah Rukh will be next seen in ‘Dear Zindagi’ along with actress Alia Bhatt. He has also been shooting in parts of Europe for Imtiiaz Ali’s upcoming movie tentatively called ‘The Ring’.
