The vivacious, charismatic and full of life actor Ranveer Singh is riding high on the success of his recently released film Simmba, which is all set to cross Rs 200 crore at the box-office. The Year 2018 definitely belonged to the actor in terms of his professional and personal front. Ranveer kick-started the year with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat, which is one of the most successful Bollywood films of the past decade. The film also starring his beautiful wife Deepika Padukone went on to earn Rs 300 crore plus at the box-office. Ending the year on a blockbuster note, the energetic actor is roaring high and loud with Simmba.
In an exclusive interview with India TV, Ranveer Singh opened up about his Bollywood journey, Deepika Padukone, love for work and much more. The actor also got very emotional and can be seen shedding tears as he gets candid about his cinematic journey and his road to fame.
At one point, Ranveer Singh talked about how his casting director Shanoo Sharma called him up after watching his film Bajirao Mastani. He said that she showered heaps of praises on him as he continues to speak about the incident, we can see the actor shedding tears.
