‘’Sonam is like my own bachcha,’’ says veteran actress Shabana Azmi, who portrayed onscreen mother of Sonam Kapoor in the National Award winning film Neerja. Sonam also received a special mention for Neerja at the 64th National Awards.
Shabana further said she feels extremely delighted to see Sonam growing like an artiste. Expressing her view on the acting talent of the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo actress Sonam, Shabana said the National Award is such a glorious validation of Sonam’s talent.
According to Shabana, Sonam is super talented and has proved her mettle in the glamorous world. Receiving such applauds and praises will only add to the confident of Sonam, believes Shabana.
Praising the Neerja actress, Shabana said that she feels proud of Sonam and her acting talent.
Sharing her experience of working with Sonam, Shabana wrote a beautiful message on her Instagram, ‘’Sonam’s national award fills Shabana with maternal pride. Sonam is like my own bachcha. To see her grow like an artiste is a very fulfilling experience for me personally. The national award for sonam is such a glorious validation of her talent.
