Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanjay Dutt biopic Sanju is on a roll at the box office. The movie has already earned Rs 339 crores approx and is not ready to slow down even when the competition from another Bollywood movie Dhadak and Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible Fallout is rock solid. Sanju has already surpassed Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai box office collection and now, this Rajkumar Hirani directorial is inching closer to beat the lifetime collection of Aamir Khan’s PK.

In the Day 1 itself, Sanju got the biggest opening and earned 34.75 crores on Day 1, reported Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh. After Week 1, Ranbir Kapoor’s film’s total was around Rs 200 crores approx.
Sanju was rock steady on the box office. The movie’s total collection stood at Rs 295.18 crores after completing Week 2.
Ranbir Kapoor's film scored as much as Rs. 326 crores after the third-week collections were added, reported trade analyst Taran Adarsh. Sanju is Ranbir Kapoor's first movie to hit the 300 crore mark.
Sharing the box office figures of Week 4 of Sanju on Twitter, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “#Sanju continues its GLORIOUS RUN… Should cross #TigerZindaHai and #PK *lifetime biz* in Week 5… [Week 4] Fri 1.28 cr, Sat 2.19 cr, Sun 3.28 cr, Mon 1 cr, Tue 98 lakhs, Wed 90 lakhs, Thu 85 lakhs. And it did cross Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai box office collections with Rs 339 crores to its credit in Week 5. After surpassing TZH, Sanju is now the fourth highest grossing Bollywood film in 2018. It is definitely raining numbers for Ranbir Kapoor’s film. Now, it is expected that it will beat Aamir Khan’s PK, which is also directed by Rajkumar Hirani, very soon.
