Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan are all set to come together for a love story. The actor-director duo is reuniting after 19 years. They last collaborated for Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. There were a lot of speculations about Bhansali's next project after Padmaavat, hence, ahead of his birthday, the filmmaker announced his forthcoming directorial.
Prerna Singh, CEO of Bhansali Productions said, "Yes, Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are reuniting after 19 years for a love story. Their collaboration is the best thing that can happen in terms of storytelling''.
Bhansali made his directorial debut with 1996's Khamoshi - The Musical. The actor went on to star in the director-producer's classic Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in 1999 opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ajay Devgn. Khan made a cameo in Bhansali's Saawariya, which marked Bollywood debut of Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor.
On a related note, Salman is currently busy with Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat, co-starring Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff, Tabu and Sunil Grover. Salman and Zafar are collaborating for the third time. He will also kick-start shooting of Dabangg 3 from April in Maheshwar. In the third instalment, Salman and Sonakshi will reprise their characters of inspector Chulbul Pandey and Rajjo respectively. On the other hand, South actor Sudeep will play the antagonist.
