Priyanka Chopra Jonas may begin working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali on his next film Gangubai after The Sky Is Pink. The actress has recently wrapped up shooting for the Shonali Bose film with Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. Now it seems, PeeCee has finally signed another Bollywood project. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, Priyanka Chopra has collaborated with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for one of his projects, Gangubai. The film will have the Quantico actress in the lead role. There were already rumours about the duo joining hands again for a Bollywood film.
Commenting about Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s project, a source told the leading entertainment portal, “This project will happen in the future, right now Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Priyanka Chopra are just in talks. Currently, Bhansali and PC are both busy with their respective commitments, but this project is close to Bhansali’s heart and will definitely happen.”
Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Leela Bhansali worked together in Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh starrer Bajirao Mastani.
Priyanka Chopra is currently busy promoting her YouTube original I Could Say Just One Thing, in which she will talk to many inspirational women about their professional as well as personal life. The trailer of her talk show is already out on the video-streaming platform.
On the other hand, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has roped in Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan for his next film Inshallah. Alia broke the news a couple of days ago on Twitter.
