Sanjay Dutt, who recently made a comeback on silver screen with his film Bhoomi, is now gearing up to enter the field of production. And interestingly, Sanjay’s wife Maanayata will be handling the responsibility of his debut production.
Maanayata is currently taking care of Sanjay’s debut production, which is a Hindi remake of Telugu film Prasthanam. The shooting of the film is scheduled to start on Sanjay’s late mother Nargis Dutt’s 89th death anniversary on June 1.
The Bhoomi actor is currently busy in the shooting of next film Torbaaz and Maanayata is managing the production responsibility in his absence.
Meanwhile, the filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani is working on Sanjay Dutt biopic titled Sanju featuring Ranbir Kapoor in lead role.
The teaser of Sanjay Dutt biopic Sanju was released recently by Hirani and it received positive response of the audience.
Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Sanju also feature Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Karishma Tanna and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles.
Sanju is slated to release on June 29, 2018.
