Superstar Salman Khan is busy these days with back to back projects. This year, he is to seen in Kabir Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, a sequel to his much loved action flick ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. Also, talks for ‘Dabangg 3’ are on for quite some time.
While everybody anticipated that the next announcement of a Salman Khan starrer would be of the third part of the ‘Dabangg’ franchise, reports suggest that the actor has recently given nod to Remo D'Souza's next dance-drama based film in which he will play a father of a 13-year-old daughter.
While talking to a weekly magazine, Salman unveiled that he is going to train hard to play the role of a professional dancer in his next film. He further added that the process of learning is painful for him but he has always wanted to look effortless on screen.
Salman said, “In my next, I'm playing father to a 13-year-old girl. It's a film about dancing. Like the Hollywood Step Up franchise.”
People have seen Salman doing some entertaining steps in the past. A source revealed that this time it’s going to be tougher for the star, as he had the habit of going ahead with his own steps after learning from the choreographer.
Reportedly, Remo approached Salman for the flick a year ago but due to the shortage of dates, he kept the project on hold. If everything goes well then Salman will start the shooting of the film in 2018.
The film will portray the journey of a dancer and his daughter who is on a roll to success in her career.
However, nothing official can be said as of now.
Salman will next be seen in ‘Tubelight’, which is slated to release on Eid.
