New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s forthcoming movie ‘Sultan’ has bagged a lot of attention since it was announced.
From Salman’s look to lead actress and the plot, everything about ‘Sultan’ created a lot of buzz in the tinselvile.
But as per this recent buzz, it is believed that ‘Sultan’ wouldn’t have been possible in the first place if Salman Khan wasn’t there.
No we aren’t talking about the star cast, instead it is about the title of the movie.
Yes! It is because of Salman Khan that this much talked about movie got its interesting title ‘Sultan’.
Confused?
Well, reportedly, it was producer Ramesh Taurani who held the rights for the title ‘Sultan’ and he gave the title to Aditya Chopra on Salman’s request. In fact, Taurani didn’t even charge a penny from Chopra for the title.
“Salman asked Taurani for the title. He agreed to give it to him right away. Later, Aditya Chopra, the producer of ‘Sultan’, called him and offered to compensate the producer financially. But Taurani considers the Khans family, there was no question of him accepting any money. He gave it away free of cost,”
a source reportedly told a web portal.
Well, it was quite generous of Ramesh Taurani.
Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Sultan’ also features Anushka Sharma and will hit the screens on Eid this year.
