The much-awaited Bollywood movie Bharat is expected to collect big money at the box office and bring Salman Khan back to the top. The trailer of the film has been received well by the film critics, audience and fans. Salman Khan will be seen in 5 different avatars in the film. The one look that has intrigued many is that of an old man. Recently, director Ali Abbas Zafar revealed in an interview that the 70-year-old Salman in the film will be seen doing the action.
Now, Salman Khan has revealed his inspiration behind his salt-and-pepper look in Bharat. "Basically all my cousins have the same look. So, most of them in Indore, they have salt-and-pepper look. They all have the same look. From my dad's brother-in-law to that whole family, we call them bhaiya ji, each one of them have that same look", the superstar was quoted as saying to India Today.
He added, "To play the character. I mean my father is 84. He [Bharat] spoke the way he [my dad] speaks. So we just kept the character young. My dad can climb 20 stairs with ease. So, we played it proper tough, macho and thoda sa khadus."
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will be seen together sharing the screen-space in the upcoming film Bharat. The movie is much in news for the replacement of Priyanka Chopra by Katrina Kaif and also the unusual looks of Salman Khan. Salman Khan told that Priyanka how gracefully Priyanka Chopra left the movie for the sake of her husband.
Bharat is an official adaptation of a South Korean movie, 'Ode To My Father'. The movie is set to hit the theaters on Eid, June 5, 2019.
