The shooting of superstar Salman Khan starrer Race 3 was stalled as gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's armed men barged on to the sets of the film after the issuing death threats to the actor. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, police arrived on Race 3 sets and informed the actor that he has to go home as soon as possible, and the shooting had to be stopped. Six policemen escorted Salman on his way back home and he has been asked to maintain a low profile.
The report further stated that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi of Rajasthan threatened to kill the actor when he was in the city for the blackbuck and chinkara poaching cases.
Lawrence was quoted as saying, “Salman Khan will be killed here, in Jodhpur... Then he will come to know about our real identity. Now, if police want me to do some major crime, I shall kill Salman Khan and that too in Jodhpur.”
Death threat to Salman is a matter of concern for Race 3 team. Producer Ramesh Taurani has revealed to a leading daily that they have hired additional guards and bouncers for the safety of the actor.
On a related note, along with Salman, the movie also features Anil Kapoor, Daisy Shah and Jacqueline Fernandez.
