Superstar Salman Khan, who recently launched the trailer of his upcoming film Tubelight, got emotional at the launch event. The actor remembered veteran actor Om Puri and stated that it kills him whenever he watches Om Puri in the songs and trailer of the film.
In the last three month, Salman has lost his three former co-stars. Om Puri, Vinod Khanna and Reema Lagoo. The actor has worked with all three actors in many films are was very close to them.
Om Puri’s death shocked the entire team of Tubelight as it was the last film in which the veteran actor acted. When Salman saw the glimpses of Om Puri in the trailer, he got emotional saying that watching Om in the trailer kills him.
Salman said, “One moment he was there and one moment he is gone.”
Salman has previously worked with Om in Bajrangi Bhaijaan. He shared the screen space with Vinod Khanna in Wanted and Dabangg. Reema Lagoo played the role of superstar’s mother in many films.
On a related note, Tubelight trailer shows the journey of a man to find his brother, who didn’t return from the war. Sohail Khan will be seen playing the role of Salman’s brother in the film. Directed by Kabir Khan, Tubelight is slated to release on June 23.
