The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, which was initiated with much of fervour and gaiety and reached its last leg now. The entire B-town was seen celebrating the festival. Several celebs brought home the statue of Ganesha with a lot of enthusiasm including superstar Salman Khan’s family.
The Khan family has welcomed Bappa just a day before yesterday and performed the visarjan on Tuesday evening, As per the tradition, Ganesha is immersed in the sea after keeping his idol in the house for 1 to 11 days.
However, the Khan-dan chose not to immerse the statue in the sea. Instead, they did the visarjan in a unique way. Salman’s family built a temporary pond in the garden of their residence in Galaxy Apartments.
