Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently came up with a surprise after he announced the trailer of his upcoming production ‘Freaky Ali’.

Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Amy Jackson in the lead, the trailer of the movie was recently launched by Salman.

The ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor is indeed quite excited about his home production and says ‘Freaky Ali’ will have you in splits.

"People will roll on floors after watching this film because its gags, punches and performances are phenomenal. And it is a very different type of film. Nawazuddin plays this undergarment entrepreneur/small time goon, who is cricket champion of his street, and by a freak accident, he gets a chance to play golf and starts his career as golfer," said Salman about the movie and its plot.

In ‘Freaky Ali’, Nawazuddin plays Ali, a poor man whose his journey starts from being a nobody to being the master of a sport which is considered a rich man's game. The film will trace the story of an extortionist who turns into a star golf player in a bid to win the love of his life, played by Amy Jackson.

Interestingly, the movie which has been directed by Sohail Khan was shot the film in 38 days. Soahil has credited his entire team for completing the shot within given time frame, said: "We were very well prepared for this film, we used to start early in the morning and we shot at exclusive locations. We hired a golf expert, as the game could get very complicated."

"I wanted to make a film of sports, then I picked golf and there I wanted to make an inspirational film, it is rags to riches story," he added.

Salman also goes went on record to praise Nawazuddin, with whom he had shared screen space in "Kick" and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".

"We had a good relationship since Kick. I think slowly he is turning into Salman and I am turning into Nawaz," he said.

The movie, which also stars Arbaaz Khan, Jas Arora, Seema Biswas, Nikitin Dheer, and Asif Basra in pivotal roles, is slated for September 9 release and will clash at box-office with Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra's "Baar Baar Dekho".
