Superstar Salman Khan, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Tubelight, has spoken on the huge success of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahuabali 2. The actor stated that the Hindi audiences are more accepting as the film did tremendous business even though people are not aware of many South heroes. The actor added that south audiences knew them but their films couldn’t perform extraordinary people there are more loyal to their stars.
The actor revealed to a leading daily that people in South are loyal to their stars and they don’t have piracy like here in Bollywood. According to the superstar, this can be considered as one of the reasons Baahubali 2 earned the huge amount.
Tubelight, which also stars Salman’s brother Sohail Khan, is all set to hit screens on July 23. It was being said that the flick will not hit the screens in Pakistan. But, COO of Salman Khan Films, Amar Bhutala has revealed to a leading daily that the film will be released in Pakistan but didn’t inform about the release date.
On a related note, Baahubali 2 starred Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles. The film broke almost every record and crossed Rs 1500 crore mark at the international box office.
