Superstar Salman Khan as a host of reality TV show Bigg Boss has been loved and accepted by millions. Such is his charm that in absence of him as a host, TRPs of the show dipped significantly. The star himself accepted that he stays a part of only shows like Bigg Boss because it connects him with the audience.
Recently, during an interview Salman was asked if he would like to take a break from hosting shows like ‘Bigg Boss’ or ‘Dus Ka Dum’ and he denied. He said these shows connect him with people and he would not opt out of this space.
When Salman was asked to highlight the difference between ‘Bigg Boss’ and ‘Dus Ka Dum’, he said the former has always been about celebrities. He added that he is excited that this time Bigg Boss will feature ordinary people too.
Though Salman said he is excited, he added that he will be scrutinised a lot. Salman said that if on the show he goes ahead and supports celebrities; people will say that it is because Salman himself is an actor. In other case, if he lends his support to commoners, the celebrities will call him biased.
“And meri class lagegi iss baar,” Salman chuckled.
After hosting Bigg Boss, Salman will start hosting ‘The Farm’. The Romanian version of this show is hosted by his rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur. Telling about what kind of show it would be, Salman said that it is on the same lines of Bigg Boss but will have farming.
“Large space, mitti, animals, plants, vegetables, trees will all be there. That’s something I personally love doing and I had been planning to do the Indian version for quite sometime,” Salman added.
Talking about his future TV plan, Salman asserted that he would never judge a reality TV show. He said that he is incapable of choosing one contestant over another. Listing out qualities as to what would make him a terrible judge, Salman said that he finds it difficult to even decide who performed better when he visits reality TV shows to promote his movies.
“I can’t pit two people, I can’t pick one over the other,” Salman reportedly said.
However, Salman said that he would love to do a show like Sylvester Stallone’s ‘The Contender’. This reality show has professional boxers eliminating each other to win the competition.
