New Delhi: Superstar Salman Khan’s stint on TV reality show Bigg Boss has been a hit for the past few seasons. The ‘Sultan’ star has managed to get the show maximum TRPs with his presence.
Owing to this successful spell on the show, the superstar has always raked his fees and Colors have obliged to his demands every season. Last year, it was reported that he charged a whopping Rs seven to eight crores for one episode of Bigg Bos 9.
However, this time, Salman Khan will not be paid as much as earlier. He, reportedly, will have a pay cut for Bigg Boss season 10.
Yes you heard that right. And we bet you too are shocked like us. But there’s more to the story than it meets the eyes.
As per a source quoted by a leading daily, “Salman has always hiked his fee for Bigg Boss, but this time he will be taking a pay cut. He wants Colors to put a chunk of money into Being Human.”
Being Human – The Salman Khan Foundation is a registered charitable trust established in 2007 and working in the areas of education and healthcare
for the underprivileged.
It seems charity has become the priority for the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor, who is known for going to extreme to help the people in need.
Interestingly, it was only yesterday that the news about Salman funding the operation of seven-year-old girl from Patna suffering from Crouzon syndrome came into light.
All it proves that Salman truly has the heart of gold.
