2017 marks the making of some fantastic projects. Besides several box office clashes that are all set to happen this year, there is the announcement of something interesting happening for the first time. Superstar Salman Khan is joining hands with ace filmmaker Karan Johar to produce a film that will feature Akshay Kumar in a lead role.
The trio took to Twitter to give information about the movie which will release in 2018. The celebrities made the first announcement of the year. Salman Khan tweeted, “Joining hands on a project where @akshaykumar is the hero and will be co produced by @karanjohar and #SKF.”
This is the first time Karan and Salman are collaborating for a project.
On a related note, Salman’s ‘Tubelight’, directed by Kabir Khan, will be releasing on Eid, this year, whereas Akshay has some good and promising projects like 'Toilet - Ek Prem Katha' and ‘Jolly LLB 2’ in his kitty. The second franchise of ‘Jolly LLB’ is slated to release on February 10.
